A ceramic duo from Poznan in love with Japan. Inspired by traditional Japanese craft techniques, Mateusz Pascal Łotocki and Elka Kosek create utility ceramics and graphics using the suminagashi ("floating inkwells") technique. They have recently opened their studio where, in addition to their own products, they also sell tea and books about Japan. The design of the studio, of course, also draws on Japanese aesthetics. It features, among other things, a sideboard made of plywood and using traditional Japanese methods of joining wood by a Polish carpenter Maciej Czajka from Czajka Studio, who stands behind several other furniture projects inspired by Japan.
